9-second Boost
At the start of the race, between countdown from 3 to 2 rev your boat up to about halfway, then release the throttle. When it is at 1, rev it up again and hold it until the race starts. If you did it right you will start with a 9-second boost. It may take some practice, but it works for all boats.

Far East Shortcut
After the Blue Boost that’s hanging out in the air, you’ll hit a heap of small waterfalls followed by a Tunnel. If you jump on top of the Tunnel, you will cut your time in half for that section.

Infinite turbo
Pause the game and press A, B, Z, Z, R, L, Up, C-Down, C-Left, Right, Z.

Lost Island waterfall secret
Near the beginning of Lost Island, you will see a waterfall. You can go through it and it will take you through a small tunnel where you can get a blue boost and a red boost, as well as get way ahead of the other boats in the race.
Further on in the course, you will see another waterfall. You can’t go through this one but you can go up it. At the top of the waterfall, you will find a small passage with a red boost at the end. Note: This isn?t a shortcut unless you are way out in front and also have a boost tank half-full.

Finish in the top 5 on ANY track and enter for your initials “?PB”. This will unlock all the tracks.
