Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga Cheats

Advance Bros. Attacks
Bounce Bros. Press A at first, and Luigi willl go towards the ground (Press B). Then, when they somersault towards the enemy, press B for Luigi and A for Mario to cause damage.

Chopper Bros. When ‘!’ is shown press A. Luigi will then go under the enemy and you can press B to make him shoot out causing massive damage. Then press A to hammer Luigi back down and press B again. You can repeat this many times.

Cyclone Bros. When Luigi leans back after stoping, press B and Luigi will stand up on Mario. Then press A to hit the enemy once more, sometimes stunning it.

Fire Bros. As soon as Luigi has hit the fireball with his hammer, Mario must jump to catch it (Supposedly using A). It will then be stored above Mario’s head. After all the fireballs have been hit, Mario will jump on Luigi’s head and jump to the stored fireball. Then press A. You do not have much time to press A however, so you have to be quick!

Knockback Bros. When B has been pressed, press A immediately. Press B at the right time, and Mario will go into the enemy and you can press A for further damage. Press B as he comes back and you can do it again.

Splash Bros. When Mario shows the ‘!’ bubble, press A (the opposite of what you would normally press, like most Advance attacks) Then Mario will come back down to Luigi, press B. When Mario gets near the target, press A for extra damage.

Swing Bros. Press A when Luigi is heading back to Mario and they will go down on the enemy. Hit A and B repeatedly to cause extra damage and sometimes steal items!

Thunder Bros. When Luigi has charged the Thunderbolt, press B and he will jump to Mario’s head. Then press A at the exact same time, and when the attack continues, press A. Luigi will go underneath the enemy and then press B to shock the enemy from underneath

Bean Juice
At Starbeans Caf?in the Beanbean Castle Town, you can make seven different blends of Bean Juice.
Chuckle Juice: 25 Chuckle beans required. Raises Speed by 4.
Chuckoccini Juice: 15 Woo and 10 Chuckle beans required. Raises Defence by 4.
Hoohoo Juice: 25 Hoo beans required. Raises BP by 4.
Hoolumbian Juice: 15 Woo and 10 Chuckle beans required. Raises Power by 4.
Teehee Juice: 25 Hee beans required. Raises Stache by 4.
Teeheespresso Juice: 15 Woo and 10 Hee beans required. Raises any stat by 6.
Woohoo Juice: 25 Woo beans required. Raises HP by 4.

Boss Locations and hints on beating them
Bowletta
Bowser’s Castle
Break the timed blocks, then keep hitting Bowletta with Bros Attacks. Don?t use Firebrand as this heals Bowletta.

Cackletta
Woohoo Hooniversity
Avoid the holes that appear in the ground. When she splits into three, the one with the largest shadow is the real one.

Cackletta?s Essence
Bowser?s Stomach
Heal the brothers first. Solo Attack her arms, then her head. When her heart is exposed, use Brother Attacks then.

Chuckola Reserve
Chucklehuck Woods
Use Bros Hammer Attacks. Have refreshing herbs to counter any poisoning.

Dragohoho
Hoohoo Mountain Summit
Squish Dragohoho?s head down to help make attacks easier. If his head is titled back, he?s aiming at Mario, otherwise he?s got Luigi in his sights.

Fawful - first time meeting
Koopa Cruiser
The colour-coding in the speech bubbles gives you hints as to which brother needs to dodge the attacks.

Fawful - second time meeting
Bowser?s Castle
You attack with Bros Attacks when the dome overheats and exposes Fawful. Jump the beam attacks when you see the flash. Before a dive-bomb attack, watch Fawful?s arm to see which brother is being targeted.

Hermie III
Gwarhar Oasis
Attack his claws first, then his head. When he retreats into his shell, set it on fire!

Hoohooros
Hoohoo Mountain
Jump on the pillar that Hoohooros is not hiding under, then hit him with Bros Attacks.

Jojora and Friend
Joke?s End
When the Friend?s hair is yellow, use Firebrand, and when the hair is pink, use Thunderhand. Use your hammer to keep Jojora back.

Koopalings, The
Bowser?s Castle
Deflect the fireballs back at the Koopalings, then finish them off with Bros Attacks.

Mom Piranha
Beanbean Airport
Use lightning against the red plants and fire against the blue plants.

Piranha Bean
Northeast Beanbean
Luigi?s Thunderhand is effective against Piranha Bean. Piranha Bean will spit fireballs after his mouth glows orange.

Popple
Chucklehuck Woods, Winkle Area
Popple steals your hammer if he walks backwards towards the brothers so hit him on the head before he gets too close.

Popple and Birdo
Teehee Valley
When Birdo inhales Popple and then spits out eggs, watch for the egg that bounces twice. Popple is in that one.

Popple and Rookie - first time meeting
Chateau de Chucklehuck
Defeat Popple first as he can heal Rookie with items he steals. If Popple grins, he?ll attack Luigi, no grin means he?s after Mario.

Popple and Rookie - second time meeting
Hooniversity Basement
Attack Popple as quick as possible with Bros Attacks to avoid getting double-teamed hits at your brothers.

Queen Bean
Beanbean Castle
Attack the arms first with Solo Jumps, then her head with Bros Attacks. If you jump on the beans she spits out, they?ll turn into more enemies.

Tolstar
Stardust Fields
Watch for the hand with which Tolstar throws the spiked-balls with. If he laughs, don?t jump!

Trunkle
Teehee Valley
Use Bros Attacks on the top of Trunkle?s head. You need to be quite strong at this point.

Wiggler
Chucklehuck Woods
Jump on the body segments until the head turns yellow. Use Bros Attacks on the head now.

Buried Beanstones locations
In Beanbean Castle Town, you find the beanstones in the following places:
West Area:
In front of the south archway.
In front of the right pillar in the north archway.
In front of the Fashion Shop.
To the left of the southwest building?s entrance.
To the right of the north archway.
East area:
At the bottom of the large staircase.
In front of the Information Shop.
On top of the right-most ledge in the south.
On a ledge to the north of the southeast building.
To the left of the west entrance to the long building.

Whenever you make a new blend for the first time, you?ll get an item from Professor E. Gadd
1. Greed Wallet: doubles the amount of coins won in battle.
2. Bonus Ring: gives bonus Experience when no HP is lost in battle.
3. Excite Spring: hold down the jump button to float on defence.
4. Great Force: doubles the damage the charcater gives and takes.
5. Power Grip: Hammerhead won?t be dropped on defence.
6. Cobalt Necktie: doubles Stache points.
7. Game Boy Horror SP: Always win rare items in battle.

Statue Puzzle at WooHoo University
There is a room with a group of statues with either blue or red balls in the center of them. The blue or red balls must be in the following sequence. B = Blue. R = Red.
B, R, B, R

And then a second time:

Unlimited coins
First, make Mini-Mario. Then keep Mario small, and attempt to do a high jump. When Luigi is over Mario, start to let Mario jump repeatedly. Every hit Mario gets on Luigi gets 1 coin, but takes up 1 of Luigi’s health. When Luigi is at one health, no coin appears and he starts groaning. Give him Mushrooms if desired, and let the cash-flow come once again. (Note: You must have beaten Popple and Rookie for the second time for this code to work).

Unlimited coins and mushrooms
When you reach Hoohoo mountain, enter the cave and go to the fountain. Use it to fill Mario and spray water at a fan that is off a small bridge nearby (have Luigi jump on Mario to spray the water). It will give you a coin if you spray the fan part. You can also get Mushrooms if you keep going.
