Boss Challenge Mode
Boss challenge mode becomes available when the following two conditions are completed.
Both hidden Bosses (Ultimate Rugal, Shin Akuma) must already be beaten and unlocked.
Hold X + Y and press Start while highlighting arcade mode.

Custom Grooves
The Custom Groove option appears once a normal Boss has been beaten (ie. normal Akuma or Rugal).
Normal Bosses will become visible by fulfilling two of the four following conditions:.
Get over 1000 GPS by the end of the game.
Get four or more special KOs.
Middle Boss has appeared.
Get two or more LV3 super combo KOs.

Extra Colour Edit Options
When editing a character’s colour, press the Start button to bring up more options.

Hidden Bosses
You get these bosses after you have beaten them in battle. The conditions of the Bosses to appear are to fulfil two out of the three following conditions:
Get over 1500 GPS by the end of the game.
Beat the Middle Boss (Geese or Bison/Vega).
Get at least one Finest KO.
(If you play with a Capcom groove you will get Ultimate Rugal, and if you play with a SNK groove you will get Shin Akuma.)

Middle Boss
The middle Boss become visible when all the conditions below are fulfilled:
No time over has occurred.
The CPU has not made over six “first attacks”.
The CPU has not made three or more Special KOs.
