Catch Fainted Shadow Pokemon
If you accidentally faint the Shadow Pokemon, simply leave the area then return. The trainer will want to fight you again, giving you another chance to catch the Shadow Pokemon.

Get 150 Rare candies
After defeating Cipher Admin Venus in her broadcast centre, go to the room behind the camera nearest the entrance and open the box to get 3 Rare Candies. Give any 3 of your Pokemon 1 candy each to hold. Now, make your way to the nearest PC and save. Deposit the 3 Pokemon and move them to separate boxes. Save the game, turn your cube off then turn it back on. Enter PC and once you?re in, you’ll see 3 boxes that contain items. Withdraw the 3 Pokemon and take back their items. Each Pokemon should now hold 50 Rare Candies each.

Helpful Hints for “Call” during battles
Using Call on a sleeping Pokemon wakes it up without the need for an Awakening.
Using Call on a Shadow Pokemon in Hyper Mode not only returns it to its normal state, but also opens the door to its heart further.

Hyper Mode
Have your shadow Pokemon use shadow rush, and when it’s about to be its turn, press A and B repeatedly. It should then go into hyper mode. Note: This works 9/10 of the time. (Thanks to CoolLuke)

Orre Colosseum Level 50 Battles
Beat Phenac Stadium, Pyrite Colosseum, and Under Colosseum in both single and double battle.

Orre Colosseum Level 100 Battles

Poke Balls
When you’re going to catch a Shadow Pokemon, there is an easy way to save pokeballs. It involves having two active Pokemon and two or more types of Pokeballs. Here is how to do it:
1. Use the first Pokemon’s turn to throw the ball.
2. On the second Pokemon’s turn, go into your bag and switch the ball with another type of ball.
3. While still on the second Pokemon’s turn, make it do something useless or use another type of item.
This works with any type of ball, even the one-time-use-only Master Ball, and other balls that you only get one of in the game.
