Pokemon Yellow Cheats

Catch Mew Easily
Read through this code carefully. You might need to begin a new game. Please note that while this cheat is not as dangerous as the Missingno. glitch, it still was not intended to be in the game by the programmers. However, it did work out safely and successfully for me.
Ok here is what you have to do.
There are two trainers you MUST NOT defeat before performing the actual code. One is on Route 25, which is the path from Nugget Bridge to Bill’s. The trainer in question stands facing north. This youngster has a Slowpoke L17. Make sure to save your game a lot!! The other trainer is some old chap west of Lavender Town. He faces the entrance of the underground passageway on Route 8.
Fine, so you have identified and avoided these two trainers. Now you’re in Celadon City, so head straight out west to get the HM Fly. Teach it to one of your Pok?mon then head back through the underground passageway. SAVE YOUR GAME RIGHT AFTER YOU STEP OUTSIDE THE PASSAGEWAY. If you mess up after this, it is a good point to restart from.
You should be able to make a beeline for the old chap you were supposed to avoid earlier. Do not battle him now. Here’s the tricky part - you need to step forward and press Start immediately. You should be able to see the old guy at the bottom of the screen, face to face with you. Now use Fly to get to Cerulean Town. While you depart, an exclamation mark should appear above the old trainer’s head, and the challenge tune should be heard shortly before it fades into Cerulean tune.
Once you’re there, check that your Start button is out of function. Don’t panic. It is time to defeat the Slowpoke trainer. Make sure he has to walk over to you; otherwise, your game will freeze.
After having defeated him, your Start button will work again. Fly to Lavender Town. Some trainers were attacked right after landing, so be prepared. DON’T SAVE NOW.
Go west and enter Route 8. The menu will pop up, so close it RIGHT AWAY and battle a Mew L7. It only knows Pound. If you mess up somehow, or if you accidentally defeat Mew, simply Restart the game.
The funny thing about this code is, you can use it with trainers other than the Slowpoke guy, hence you will encounter different Pok?mon on Route 8. I got a Ghastly this way without having to use a Silph Scope. Moreover, all these Pok?mon are on L7 so if you enjoy raising, this is just the method for you.

Catch Wild Pokemon Easily
When in battle against a wild Pokemon, throw the Pokeball at the Pokemon. As it explodes, press and hold the B button. The Pokemon should then be yours! Note: This cheat does not work all the time, and some Pokemon may need stronger Pokeballs and some need to be put to sleep (such as Mewtwo or Zapdos).

Get Bulbasuar, Charmander, and Squirtle
First you have to get to Cerulean City to get Bulbasuar and Charmander. Bulbasuar is in the house next to the Pokemon Center. Charmander is above the Nugget Bridge.
Squirtle is in Vermilion City with Officer Jenny. You have to beat Lt. Surge to get it. The best way to beat him is to go to Diglett’s cave and catch a Dugtrio. If you stay at the beginning of the cave, you should see one. You have to keep walking/riding around with patience, because Digletts will pop up most of the time.

Get Mewtwo
After you become the champion, go to the bridge by Cerulean City and take a left at the end. There you will find a body of ocean, surf over it and you will find a cave. Go in the cave and at the end, you will find Mewtwo. (Remember to have some Ultra Balls or a Master Ball.)
