Half-Life Cheats

All Items 1. Get into dos prompt
2. Type in C:\(where your half-life folder is located)\hl.exe -dev -console
3. Get into any game
4. Press the “~” key
5. Type in impulse 101
You’ll get one of all the items in the game.
Note: this code is very finnicky and may require for you to exit (Esc) then press the console bar at the top of the main screen.
This code rules, but you might find yourself typing it in often. To make it easier, get into console mode(~) type in bind X “impulse 101″, replace the X for any key not currently used. This will bind the X key to give you all items whenever you press it, which is really nice if you are in need of an ammo boost.

Debug Code-Items, Weapons, and Whatnots 1. Get into the dos prompt.
2. Type in C:\(wherever your folder is located)\Hl.exe -dev -console.
3. Hit enter.
Now you will be brought to the title screen then the game screen. At the top you’ll notice a bar labeled “console”.
4. Start a new game on the difficulty setting of your choice.
5. When in the game, at any time, you may hit the “~” key to bring up the console menu.
6. When in console, type in any of the following:
/god godmode
/god_0 godmode off
/give XXXXXXXXX
- This allows you to get a weapon, ammo pack or item of your choice
–Items–:
item_suit ; item_longjump ; item_healthkit ; item_battery
–Weapons–:
weapon_crowbar ; weapon_glock ; weapon_357 ; weapon_mp5 ; weapon_shotgun ; weapon_crossbow ; weapon_rpg ; weapon_gauss ; weapon_egon ; weapon_hornetgun ; weapon_handgrenade ; weapon_satchel ; weapon_tripmine ; weapon_snark
–Ammo–:
ammo_glockclip ; ammo_buckshot ; ammo_mp5clip ; ammo_mp5grenades ; ammo_357 ; ammo_crossbow ; ammo_egonclip ; ammo_rpgclip
Note: These all come in mighty handy all the time. If you get frustrated about having to enter the same dumb code in time after time (like for ammo) press the ~ key then just press the up arrow and it will enter the last code that was used. It doesn’t matter how many times you press it, just keep pressing up, enter, up, enter, up, enter, etc., until you have what you were after.
(Also, the) –Level Select–
/map XXXXX

Note: when you enter a map string you’ll automatically go to that level but with no suit or weapons.
Note: Some codes are finicky and may require you to enter “sv_cheats 1″.
If it says “sv_cheats changed to 1″ try pressing escape and then pressing the console bar, which will bring you back into the game.
