Alternate Color
At the character select screen, press and hold Select on Controller 2 and press X, Circle, Square, Triangle, L1, L2, R1, or R2. (Thanks to Adrian_V@webtv.net)

At the Title screen, press and hold L1+L2+R1+R2, highlight Player 1, press and hold Down, and press Start.
