How much space do you allow?
This varies from site to site, but we should be able to offer more than enough to meet your needs.

Why don't you offer unlimited space and bandwidth?
There is no such thing as "unlimited". VGF considers the terms "unlimited" and "false advertising" to be synonymous. Every host reaches its limit eventually, even those who offer "unlimited" services. Otherwise, you'd have literally no limits, which means you could have, for example, 50GB of server space if you needed it (no host is going to give you 50GB of space without charging significant amounts of money for it, and those amounts will be above and beyond their "unlimited" charges... hence, the term false advertising, as they promise what they can't deliver). Moreover, hosts that even attempt to offer unlimited services often become so bogged down by those services that they run very slowly, which affects everyone involved negatively. It's not possible to offer "unlimited" services without a) reaching a limit and then having to cut off service or increase the price and/or b) delivering poor service. As a result, you should be wary when you see the word "unlimited" from a potential host, as it doesn't exist.

Do you support CGI?
Yes, CGI is supported.

Do you support SSI?
Not only is it supported, but it is also encouraged. Moreover, unlike most hosts that support SSI, you won't need to change all your file extensions and links. If you don't know what SSI is or how to use it, VGF will help you out.

What types of DNS services do you offer?
VGF offers you whatever DNS services you need. Whether you need a subdomain, an updated CNAME record, an updated MX record, or an aliased site, it's no problem (and, of course, free of charge).

Will my site be visible without the www?
Yes, your site will be visible with and without the www (www.site.com and site.com).

What if I don't have a domain?
That is not a problem. We can work with you and get you a better url if necessary.

Do you support PHP?
Yes.

Do not apply if (no exceptions)...

• You do not already have a site.
• Your site is not video game related.
• You have a large amount of downloads and are not willing to compromise.
• Your site does not receive at least 500 visitors per day.
• You are not willing to post ads on your site.
• Your website contains or endorses illegal content or hatred.
