Purchase the Shelves from the TV Shopping Show then you can start searching for the Jewels of Truth. You’ll find them:
In the water trough in your horse's barn.
Inspect the calendar in the mountain cottage (it falls out).
Inspect the lampposts between the Church and Rose Plaza.
On the roof of your dog house .
On the second floor of the library, inspect the centre right-most shelf.
Play the New Year's game show on the TV inside the town cottage.
Purchase from Won ($50,000).
Take all eight of the above gems to Thomas' house; inspect his refrigerator.
Trade 1000 medals at the Horse Race.

Karen
Give her wine, sashimi, french fries, cheese, pizza, bamboo shoots, popcorn, perfume, dress(es), tempura, truffles and diamonds. Wrapping gifts helps improve the heart level. When you buy something at the supermarket, it increases her heart level.
The requirements to marry her are: Red heart, big bed, second house upgrade and you must have seen all of her heart events.
Black Heart- On Wednesday or Friday, go to the supermarket between 10am - 1pm. Karen will ask you if you want help on the farm or something. Accept, and she will give you seeds.
Purple Heart- Every day, go to the supermarket between 10am - 1pm and Karen and Sasha are arguing about what kind of flowers to send to Karen's cousin. Choose what flowers Karen wants to send.
Blue Heart- Any day between 10am - 1pm, go to the supermarket. Karen's family and Dukes are talking about a wine that was made when Karen was born. After all of this time, it has aged very well, but there are three crates of "Karen's" wine! Karen asks you to help bring them to the supermarket. Agree, and you will get the item "Karen's Wine". On Fall 15th, between 1 - 4, wrap the wine and give it to her.
Yellow Heart- On a Monday, Thursday or Saturday, go to the supermarket between 10am - 1pm and Karen (bad at cooking) is prodding her parents to try her cooking. When Jeff notices you, he asks if you want to try Karen's "wonderful" cooking. Say yes. You will then go to the clinic.
IMPORTANT: the heart events are named for the heart event you must at LEAST have. (If you didn't, for example, activate the blue event but you are on yellow, you can still activate it.)
