| To be fair you could consider Locke a main character for some time. No, Locke is never the protagonist, but we do hear the story from his point of view for some of the game (the Zozo arc, mainly). In my view, the main character isn't the protagonist of the story, but the narrator. Locke is the narrator during the Zozo arc, so he's the main character for that small timeframe, even though Terra is still the protagonist.
Now, during the Thamasa arc (and for most of the WoB), Terra is both the protagonist AND the main character, since she is not only the focus of the story, but also the one who tells it. -CSM |
