| Personally, video game series are limited only to games in which the character has a starring role, be it as a villain or a hero.
Hence Mario and DK share series. In the DK-only games it's outside the Marioverse, in Mario-only games it's outside the DKverse. It only makes sense, unless we accept the (crazy) premise that K. Rool could attack Mario or Bowser would directly attack DK. |
