^^I personally disagree and warmed up to Bleck in the end. And those interludes were painfully obvious as soon as Tippi started acting up.

edit: wait, getting off-track. Hold on a second.

^That has to do with him being basically insane.

@Bleck discussion:
Spoiler Below
Bleck starts off a wimp. He has given up on life and is trying to destroy the world. Even when he deduces that Tippi is his lost love, he continues. Not because "lol it can't be stopped" as he says, but because he thinks he's lost: no one can love him now, not even Timpani. At the end of the game, his minions give him strength, as he mourns Natasha's sacrifice for him. He gets his hope in life restored, giving the Pure Hearts power. Finally, at the end, he decides to put his life on the line, and stop the void through marriage. I believe Bleck is a character who we first see as a Shinji-character: he hates himself, and is essentially blocking himself from others. Near the end, he overcomes himself, and becomes more than a wimp.

...I'm not sure if that made any sense, Metal, but w/e. Discussing is fun! (now that I think about it, that end I put is lame...whatever)
