Only games marked "Super Nintendo" will work directly with the Super Nintendo system, but you can also play original Game Boy games, Game Boy Color games with a black cartridge (ones with a clear cartridge will give you a message saying it's only compatible with the Game Boy Color), or any Pokemon game except Crystal on the Super Nintendo using a device known as the Super Game Boy. The Super Game Boy goes into the Super Nintendo just like a regular Super Nintendo game, but has a slot on the top where you can insert Game Boy games.
Absolutely no Game Boy Advance games work with the Super Game Boy. You will need a device for the Gamecube called the Game Boy Player if you wish to play Game Boy Advance games on your television. The Game Boy Player also supports those Game Boy Color games with the clear cartridge, but some do not function properly.

Where are these lemmings going? The
Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!
