I admit I died to him the first time as well. He
is the hardest boss in the game. So after a while I had to improvise and that is when I discovered the charge multibounce combo. If not for goombario's version I'd probably never be aware Mario's had the same attack version. I rememeber the first time I defeated the cloud I inflicted either 390(if I missed one jump) damage or 485 damage to him that turn because I charged my characters to maximum power.
Turns out the strongest bosses in the game only have 99 health so I didn't have to go that extreme, heh.
