I'd suggest you make a separate forum for non-spriting instead. Otherwise, your proposal should be rewritten to be "We don't want to see anymore sprite comics."
Since otherwise if you allow them in the new forum, then you'll go through all this work only to then encounter... the same topics you said you were moving away from, since a large portion of the people in this forum only sprite.
So, while it is a good idea to separate this forum from is SMBHQ category, and perhaps to encourage something other than spriting, I believe you'd get more done if you had a non-spriting comic forum (if there really is demand for such) and then put this one alongside it in the art area.
Since after all, sprites aren't exclusive to SMBHQ, are they? |
