| I believe that is just Dylan's own take on the future of the forum (he's more interested in other comic styles personally, so sees more activity based around those). That said, sprite comics are by far and large a minority in the comic world, so you could argue that the forum will inevetably be more focused on regular comics, and less on spriting, just for the sheer factor of popularity.
But again, there was never any intention on removing the spriting and sprite comics from the forum, only to encompass all forms of comic art. And really, if you're taking it so seriously to suggest you feel you will "be treated as second-class citizens", you should really step back and get a clear head before posting. *sigh*
Mushman, more than anything, it's an expectation, and the encouragement of what's appropriate. I could honestly see certain members advising someone to take their hand drawn comics elsewhere, with the forum as it is at this moment. So it's just a change of focus, and making the effort to actively include all comics, instead of sticking with a spriting exclusive feeling. |
