| ^^^Chocobo World is cheating. Getting the Perfect Game requires you to get the 100 million Cursed Spikes. This is the honest way of doing things.
Tetra Master was tough to master, but it didn't have any of those annoying features (can anyone say Plus?) that Triple Triad had.
And the game was more "Final Fantasy" ish to me. FF needs more equipment based setups and swords shields and armor. Any technology should be limited to World War I era technology. And while FFIX had no characterization of the villains, FFVIII had no characterization of the playable characters, which is probably more important. Plus Zidane, unlike Squall, is someone who has high hangingoutitude. Plus Vivi, Beatrix, Marcus, Blank, and Freya. Even Eiko was likable to me.
Not to mention the great piece of work that is FFIX's soundtrack. -CSM |
