Microsoft responds to GameInformer claims of 54% Xbox 360 failure rate > Video Game News, Inc. > Video Game News Quote: In a statement to TG Daily, Microsoft has responded to GameInformer's claim of a 54% failure rate on the Xbox 360. A poll of 5,000 GameInformer readers showed The Xbox 360 having a failure rate of 54.6% while the PS3 and Wii failure rates were much lower at 10.6% and 6.8% respectively.
Microsoft's statement:
"Microsoft stands behind the Xbox 360 as a superior entertainment console with one of the best warranties in the industry. We are constantly improving the design, manufacture and performance of the console through extensive testing of potential sources of any problems. Xbox 360 is pleased to maintain the title of 'most played console' and the vast majority of Xbox 360 customers have enjoyed a terrific gaming and entertainment experience since their first day, and continue to, day in and day out." | No outright denial included. lol |
