History and Background:

Lord X is the leader of a secret empire unknown to most of the world. The empire consists mainly of a capital palace in the Galapagos Islands, and many smaller palaces around the world. The empire is run by a group of elite officers known as mavericks. The mavericks act as the army, and protect the empire and it’s secrecy. As the commanding officer and leader of the empire, Lord X’s position stands as the maverick lord. The primary goal of the empire is exploration into unknown realms, technological advancement and the furthering of human potential. A common misconception about Lord X being a maverick is that he is a robot. This is entirely false. Mavericks in this sense should be in no way associated with mavericks from the Megaman X series. Mavericks of Lord X’s clandestine empire are elite agents who surpass average human capabilities in every way.

Attributes:

Lord X is a human male whose strengths lie in agility, speed, resourcefulness, and an incredible proficiency in science/technology. Lord X can be thought of, as having three sides: 1. An insane side - insane! 2. A maverick side - loves action, exploration, adventure, and lemonade! 3. An evil side – pure evil. Lord X has mastered a new method of slight universal alteration based on deep quantum probability factors. The skill blends physical ability with technological advancements to allow enormous control over the reality of the universe. Mavericks of Lord X’s empire remain as regular humans, only utilizing their full skill and potential as mavericks when on missions. Unlike the rest, Lord X is always a maverick. After the first few rounds of a fight or in a particularly difficult mission Lord X can become a MaverickLord, increasing his skills greatly. When a MaverickLord, Lord X’s arsenal of weapons and attacks increases with his power. Although extremely rare, Lord X can surpass even MaverickLord and relish in state of pure Quíæ, in which his abilities in universal alteration are charged beyond maximum capacity, ascending him to a new dimension of power.

Maverick

Main Attacks:
1. Plasma Cannon (A portable gun)
2. Energy Kris (A hand held dagger that induces temporary paralysis)
Items:
1. Temporal Sapphire (does neat stuff with time!)
2. Violet Cape (Significantly reduces acceleration when falling)
Main Defense:
1. Personal Shields (Classic sci-fi spherical shield that becomes visible only when it is in use, much like a fully charged roll shield)
2. Arm Shield (A small specifically designed shield that only protects the hand and arm, allowing the user to block attacks by thrusting his/her arm in the way. Again, this shield is not a physical shield, it is an energy shield much like a fully charged roll shield)

Special:
1. Sinkhole (Creates a massive, constantly expanding sinkhole under the control of Lord X.)

MaverickLord

High Attacks:
1. Implosion (A tremendously devastating attack, which focuses the point of a massive implosion directly on the enemy. The implosion will suck in everything within a thousand yards or more depending on the strength of the attack, and then, after a singly moment of tranquility, burst outward, demolishing everything within miles.

Universal Alterations:
1. Once Lord X has begun to fight as a MaverickLord, the majority of his offensive and defensive moves will be forms of universal alteration. These tactics will open a wide variety of attacks and defensive strategies, all of which are based on the ability to warp reality and the universe.

Special:
1. Celestial Fire Orb (A glowing red sphere about 6 inches in diameter. When activated it materializes over the right shoulder, and hovers there continuously. However, a sudden or sharp movement will cause it to swing in the direction of the thrust and quickly return. In this manner, certain shoulder movements can be performed that will cause the orb to swing into an enemy, obstacle, attack, etc… The orb consists of the essence of pure energy and was given to Lord X by a stranger passing through this part of the universe a long time ago. It is still a complete mystery to Lord X. When it comes into contact with most forms of matter it will slice completely though giving off a blaze of light. It has incredible potential as an offensive and defensive weapon, but is very difficult to use. Lord X is still attempting to master it.

Beyond

It is unlikely that Lord X will tread in this territory anytime soon. Most of this remains a mystery to Lord X and the very few opponents who have lost to him while in this state.

I doubt any of you know who I am. I use to visit these forums regularly about 2.5 years ago, but I left and went to that site pertaining to a Bard that is Super. Feeling a little enclosed in it's battlefield, I decided to explore other battlefields. So here I am, I assume things work the same way. In short, Greetings all.
