Name: Mario Mario
AKA: ArchMario
Physical traits: Heh, do I really have to tell you?
Weapons: A pair of metallic gauntlets, gleaming silver, with a red M imprinted on the backside of the hand and a traditional, googly ? embedded onto the palm. They manipulate and utilise the raw energy of Power stars, able to create temporary, invicible shields of rainbow-gold energy, syphon of the stored power into beams, waves, explosions etc. It also reproduces the Mario power-ups, Racoon leaf, Feather, Tanooki suit etc., which a formed from the ?s on the palms.
Items(Armor, excess): His cap, a legendary trademark and a piece of finery far more than meets the eye. He wears his typical blue overalls, and red shirt. Underneath the cybernetic gauntlets he still wears his white gloves.
Techniques: ArchMario still owns all his signature techniques, from the 'Coin Trick' to 'Mario Tornado' and his inhuman jumps to gandiose fireball attacks. Using his Gauntlets he can also unleash extraordinary bursts and waves of Star Energy, manipulated through his will.
Name: King Bowser
AKA: CyBowser
Physical traits: He has immensly changed since his past encouters with the Mario brothers. His hellish red mane now cascades down his shoulders, and flows down his back, a tangled, forbidding mess. His crimson eyes are now darker than wine, hotter than burning lava, his shell has darkened to almost raven black, with jagged, vile, hook-like spines blossoming from the bone-hard surface. Twin, demonic horns sprout from the sides of his head, and his half metal face is fused with sharp, gnashing canines of steel. Bowser is now an atrocity of monster and machine, with weapons hidden beneath his smooth, plate armor and claws of diamond-tipped titanium. His palms radiat crystalline beam-cannons, and his breath has been warped to nuclear flame.
Weapons: A vulcan cannon is hidden in his chest, and a minigun roped to his arm with steel cable, wrapped in sheets of metal. Laser-cannons are melted into his hands, erupting from the palms, and his breath is a weapon far deadlier than it had been long ago. His twisted, horrific spines radiate surges of electricity, and his teeth/claws can reduce even diamond to shreds. He holds a single melee weapon, a great scimitar, frighteningly gargantuan, able to generate surges of energy by means of a power core in the hilt.
Items: One single utem, a device strapped to his mighty arm, able to gather up his particles and travel great distances, teleportation.
Techniques: Bases his attacks off of raw power instead of technique, but he has several varied moves.
Apocalypse Rain:
CyBowser spews an ugodly pillar of atomic fire towards the heavens, and it rains forth nuclear flame.

History: ArchMario originates from an alternate future to the regular Mario's life. A future far less happy. In this timeline, Smithy was reincarnated and tore his way back to Mario Land again, corrupting life and nature with industrial towers and mechanical monstrosities, using terrible weapons to have his vengeance upon those who had defeated him in the past. This incident was known as "The Weapon War".
As he had been before, Smithy was destroyed, by the efforts of Mario and his companions. But he left his legacy. The industry and technology made its way to Bowser, Lord of the Koopa's, able mind. The dragon-like warlord used this knowledge and his armies tore forth across the already wasted land, his intent to destroy every living thing until the Mario brothers lay in pools of their own blood, or incinerated into crisps, and the Mushroom Kingdom rotted in the palm of his hand, Princess Peach(Toadstool) his queen.
For long years both sides fought savagely, and both sides did all in their power to stop one another. The good populace of the Mushroom king, with Mario Mario, and Luigi Mario at their sides, called forth Nimbus Land, Moleville, all adjacent kingdoms, raising their own army of good to throw down the evil hordes of King Bowser. The Koopa Emperor had changed however, mutilating his own body for more power, become his own machination. Several of his muscles had been converted into metal cables, his claws into steel blades, half his blood to oil...his walking form a living weapon.
Bowser reached out and sculpted a device able to ahnihilate all of the Mario Brothers' chances of victory, the
items . He laid waste to every fire flower, power mushroom, magic cape, Frog suit...everything was scorched by his wrath. Eventually, the mushroom kingdom had to turn to artifice themselves, and their most brilliant scientists conceived the Power Gauntlets. Arm-wear able to re-create all of the original power-ups by replicating their magical structure. It also absorbed all of the power starts into Mario and Luigi's souls, enabling them to channel Star energy through their gauntlets and manipulate it at will. With these new toys in hand, the final cards were laid down, and the 'Last March' of the Marios drew to a close.
The armies met on the ruined, scorched expanse of Villa Hill, and as they clashed against one another, like the colliding waves of the sea. Mario and Luigi made their way deep into Bowser's keep, fighting past his traps, cybernetic minions, guards...to finally meet the Dark King himself, dueling him on a floating Chandelier suspended over an endless, cavernous shaft of darkness.
As both armies slaughtered each other, the Mario Brothers battled Bowser atop the decorative arena. They fired off beams and exposions of star power combined with using every power-up and item they had ever needed and used, while the warped Koopa King fought back with razor claws, weapon systems and nuclear fire. The battle raged for hours, and eventually, Bowser charged Luigi in his final rush, Mario leaping in front of the Koopa Lord and pushing his brother out in the nick of time, sending both warriors plummeting to their 'deaths' off the chandelier, and into the abyssal darkness below, leaving Luigi to mourn the lose of his brother.
But the warriors were not yet done in. As they fell beyond Luigi's peripheral vision, Bowser activated a dimensional warp, transporting himself and his arch-nemesis into uncharted planes of reality, trapped in seperate dimensions. The shockwave demolished Bowser's keep, and almost killed Luigi.
To this day, ArchMario seeks a way back home, and CyBowser as well...
-OoC: Now, how is THAT for a twisted version of the Mario story? I plan to write a fanfic about this...maybe even a comic. In all honesty I really liked it! Funny how the greatest of ideas are made up in the shortest amounts of time...
