Okay, first, the history, as this applies to both of my characters.

The Origin of the Kakovtahn

There was a great war... between Earth and Kakova.

Dr. Jones Tekel, a leading scientist who speicalised in genetics, was employed to use his knowledge to create biological weapons of mass destruction, such as virus bombs. However, Tekel had greater ambitions, and devised the Kakovtahn, which in the Kakovan tounge meant "Destruction of Kakova."

The Kakovtahn were a series designed by Tekel, but they were never meant to actually be created, as it would be too unethical. However, Tekel eventually drove himself mad with his research, and what power he would control if he created them. But for some unknown reason, he turned away from maximum power and towards maximum production - power was good, but numbers were better. That was his theory after a year of creating cluster bombs. He changed a simple gene and introduced a gender to the DNA blueprints of the first Kakovtahn.

After many months of collecting organic material - by any means necessary - compounding the material together and altering the DNA structures, the first creature was born. Tekel named her Teria, after his sister who had fallen in combat a year ago.

Teria seemed much in appearance like a snake - mostly green, or yellowish green, but with an extrusion out of her back where a transclucent blue sac hung - her egg sac - many red tentacles of "hair" from her head and two small arms with dagger-like claws. (I'm not the best at descriptions, so...)

She was able to communicate via English - a feature Tekel was careful to include. However, if his original plans were to work, he needed to create a male. Tekel set to work creating him, inviting Teria to name his new creature. Teria named him Kovono - Kakovan for "Warrior."

Kovono was much like Teria, minus the egg sac, and with many blue spines protruding from his back and a single blue spike out of the back of his head.

Of course, the two were instinctively atrracted to each other and within a month Teria was pregnant. Tekel realised that the creatures were actually useless for causing the mass destruction he had envisioned. So during Teria's pregnancy he developed chemicals that could be used to alter a developing Kakovtahn's DNA to be able to cause more damage to structures and infantry. Suspecting something, Kovono watched Tekel's every action - he discovered that he and Teria were just pawns in a greater plan. As soon as the research was complete, Kovono explained his opinions to Teria. They both agreed on one thing - keep watching. Some time later, Teria gave birth to two small "larvae", as referred to by Tekel. Although they were referred to this by Tekel, the two Kakovtahn themselves referred to them collectively as Fene. Tekel seemed almost too interested in the two Fenee and was killed by Kovono after he started to try and experiment on them.

After his mysterious death, the military, after a brief calm in the war, searched his laboratory for what could have caused his strange end. Teria and Kovono, both living in the lab with their Fenee, were inevitably discovered and sentenced to be destroyed by the government. The two pleaded for their life, and the lives of their Fenee, but the verdict held - opposition seemed to disappear, again, mysteriously. The Kakovtahn were not about to be killed without a fight, and Kovono took the research that Tekel had seemed so interested in. Yes, the chemicals could be obtained from the lab - and many of them could be made from a substance known as Ture, a form of fuel on Kakova. The Kakovtahn gained their nourishment from this substance, and it was base for the chemicals devised by Tekel. What was strange was that the chemicals were actually just Ture compounded with substances from Earth. So, with no other option, Teria and Kovono bred an army from themselves - using the chemicals to transform their Fenee into living bioweapons. As Tekel had designed them to, the Kakovtahn increased in number rapidly - with Teria and Kovono as the Psyoners, leaders of the Kakovtahn.

The Kakovtahn became a more bloodthirsty species. Their strength and numbers obliterated their enemies. Only a single Drehk - a male Kakovtahn - a Fehr - a female Kakovtahn - and a supply of Ture were needed to dominate an entire planet.

Kovono
Type: Drehk Psyoner
Known for his agility and cunning, he is usually the commander of the various armies of the Kakovtahn. Though weak in hand to hand combat, his agility and fast reactions can make him a formidible fighter.

Teria
Type: Fehr Psyoner
Usually found in the Fehrnest, a subterranean pit filled with liquid Ture where eggs and Fene live, she usually is more strategic with the economy of the battlefield. She doesn't always stay at the base - she is usually seen leading covert missions such as infiltration.

[Note: I don't play as the whole army, I just play as either one of these two or a variable character from the Kakovtahn.]
