Alex was once a scorpion in the desert. His soul was transported into a human. In a horrible accident he was given cybernetic enhancements to keep him alive. Later he was assigned to a group called the Arachnid Warriors. There he installed a scorpion-like tail on him. Alex learned to control power into his stinger and generated fire, ice, and electricity. He has the ability to evolve into 3 greater forms and the ability to devolve into a simple scorpion for quick escapes and to get through tight spaces.

Born and raised in NYC, Fang was part of a gang called the Metalheads. They were a group of 10 year olds who robbed banks, held hostages, etc., and got away with it. Since his parents died when Fang was only 5, the gang was his family. Fang was put on Death Row many times, but he always got out of prison. At age 11, Fang fell into a mysterious portal that transported him to a place where dragons were the dominant species. He came upon a mystic sword called the Dark Blade. He trained for 3 long, hard years. Finally, Fang overthrew the dragons and became the king of the new land. However, he was too young to rule over it, so he gave the position to a friend of his he had met during his training. However, his friend became obsessed with his power and tortured everyone that did anything he didn't like. Fang did what anyone would do. He stated an underground rebelion. He enlisted the help of both humans AND dragons. During his past struggles, he became fused with a dragon. Human and Dragon work together still to overthrow the king of the new land.
