Unfortunately, you let Gamefiend live, and he goes to the Spirit Train and kills you. I then warp to the Spirit Train as well, and fight him in an epic battle. Unfortunately, I seem to be losing.

Gamefiend: Any last words before I kill you, VGA?

Me: Yeah, how do you like the taste of C4s?! *Takes off shirt to reveal that several C4s are strapped around stomach*

Gamefiend tries to run away, but I tackle him to the ground, take out the detonator, press the button, and BOTH of us are blown to kingdom come. Sure I can't get the Thingy now, but neither can Gamefiend, leaving someone else to easily get the Thingy.
