| The Beatles aren't very relevant to me, musically, but I dig a lot of the post-Beatles stuff. If you don't like the bassline to Taxman, you probably don't like basslines, though. Metroid Prime is easily more accessible, and entirely a different beast than the other Metroid titles, with things like lock-on-targeting to dig its nails in and message-scans to flesh out a story. The 2D Metroid games since SM have just been in imitation of SM, though, so it's questionable whether that aspect of the series has gone at all the way it would've if Yokoi stayed with Nintendo and were still alive. But hey, I'd compare Super Metroid to a fine wine with most popular series relating more to soda. You've gotta get it to get it. People shouldn't pay so much damn attention to celebrities, period. That's my 3 cents. |
