There are no ways of reviving a dead character in Fire Emblem, but it's still a RPG. Third, Resident Evil is not a shooter. Guns are are optional weapons in the games. It is not a platformer, as there is no jump. It is not action, as the action is no more prominent than the puzzles. Last, regardless of your characterization acrobatics, it remains true that Sweet Home is just an insignificant speck--another way of approaching the RPG genre. It was not until Resident Evil that the style of play became prominent enough that a new genre is warranted. |
