You head down to the docks, sign out a boat, and pick one out. It's just a tiny skiff, but it seems simple enough to sail. There's a small mast and sail on board, but you'd have to lash it together and raise it before sailing-- otherwise you can just row. You suppose that the raiseable mast is for purposes of stealth, since you can easier avoid detection if it's down. Jayra, silent the whole time, suddenly pipes up. Jayra: Oh... I do know how to sail, a little bit... so I can help you if you want. Sheba: Sure, thanks. Jayra: Just get in, I'll take care of it. You climb down into the boat while she unties it from the dock. She hops in with a grace that belies her shyness and pushes the boat off. You're out in the water. There are four paddles on board. She grabs one, you grab the other, and you paddle out a little. Jayra: So... where are we going? |
