I study the Japanese language on my spare time. Read it again: I STUDY IT. I am in no way fluent, and I don't try to learn stupid phrases that are of no use to anybody (with the exception of "nande yanen" because Osaka pwns j00) or use Japanese words mixed in English sentences (example: "you are baka" is stupid to say to somebody, but I will let "anta baka" slide). In other words, I'm not an average anime fan.

All I can do now is make stupid, simple sentences, like "This is boring" or "That is food" or "I am sleepy" or "You are a carrot". Yeah, high school Japanese classes are really simple at best. And I can't read Kanji. That bugs me a lot.

Some animes work better subbed than dubbed. Example: Azumanga Daioh. You lose a lot of the weird quirky humor on the dubbed version.
