American Dad is just way, way too contrived. I think the premise had potential, but it's Family Guy with a slight political bent--not even that pronounced. They could make it decent if they stuck to topical humor (South Park-ish, though nothing can ever climb that holy mountain), changed the art and got rid of... well, all the characters as is. |
