^ OK, let me get this straight: there NO SUCH THING as a good movie and a bad movie!

In my opinion, for every movie there will be people who like it and people who don't.

The view that movie reviews try to convey is that "if I like/don't like a movie, then you should feel the same way"

But, that is FAR from the truth

OK, let's see what people REALLY think about Doom:

IMDB allows people to vote on a scale of 1-10, on what they think about movies.

Currently 1227 IMDB users voted and the tally comes out to this:

code:

Votes Percentage Rating
401 32.7% 10
79 6.4% 9
121 9.9% 8
159 13.0% 7
114 9.3% 6
63 5.1% 5
41 3.3% 4
59 4.8% 3
45 3.7% 2
145 11.8% 1
[/quote]Now, as you can see, different people have different views about the movie. There are people who think it's good, there are people who think it's bad, and there are many people in between. (BTW 10 and 1 ratings are always the highest 2 ratings on IMDB, since some people don't bother with the range and just do 10 for good and 1 for bad).

Now A.I., I won't dispute your claim that the movie is bad, but I am not allowing you to force that opinion onto me or others, because, as the old saying says, someone's junk is someone else's treasure (I'm not saying Doom is a masterpiece, but you get my drift)
