Heh. The makers of edits and scratches certianly can't be taken from, but a recolor like Dave Anez's "dave" or "Bob" is made of is kinda different. You couldn't make a main character out of his characters, of course, because then you are stealing the idea of the character, but for a 2-second clip in an animation I don't think that would be a problem. It's not like they put any work into the sprite. Technically, yo'd probably want to recolor it yourself using your own pallete with the same colors, thogh. But I'm not sure. Anyone else have any ideas on this subject? |
