First you should get Photoshop. Jay can do without, but Jay's a pro. But Photoshop just makes things go along faster, since you can use layers and things. See if you can use Limewire or something to get it. (Just make sure you don't get a virus instead!)

But that's just a helper. As you have seen, you don't need Photoshop to be funny.

Well, if you're making deathmatches I guess that's not such a bad place to start out. They're simple and any mistakes you make should be easily caught, so I'll start with giving you some tips on those.

  • No gore. This is NC. The only one who thought gore would be a good idea would be Sean Kelly but he's not funny so he doesn't count.</font>
  • There is an amazing thing about funny. If a joke is good enough you'll laugh, and if a joke is bad you won't, but if a joke is really really bad it might be so stupid it's funny again. If you're going to do a stupid joke don't just stop at stupid, try and make that joke so stupid it's funny again. You should have done that with shoes.</font>
  • You need interesting opponents. 3-way between Mario and Luigi and Wario or Peach and Pauline and Daisy are not new but they leave open many a possibility, while other things like Wart vs. Ridley are just... bizarre. And funny. Putting yourself as an opponent is just kinda stupid.</font>
  • Keep in mind that you can basically do whatever you want in your deathmatch. And if you go nuts and change the whole thing or make cameos by characters for no reason, that's fine... in fact, if you can make it funny, I encourage it. Just make sure not to make something stupid unless it's stupid-funny.</font>
Also, why are you worried about artistic things anyway? This is NC. If you look at the encyclopedia under "funny but not good looking" you'll find a picture of Jay.
