Eh.. I came to back to VGF.. out of boredom I guess. Damn, you got see Yellowcard? I love them, the only poppish-emo band I like. And how recent was this Less Than Jake concert? Didn't they get rid of their horns completely when they released Anthem? I saw them in a MTV music video with a song from Anthem and it had 0 horns in it, nor anything that sounded like the LTJ from the past. Put Keasbey Nights and Everything Goes Numb at the top of your to buy list. You absolutely have to get these. When you first listen to Everything Goes Numb it feels kind of dull because there are only a few tracks that start out fast, but once you listen more and just let the CD run you discover so many "spots" in the CD where they seem like entirely different songs, like a complete tempo/style change or an absolutely sweet verse that you can't stop singing for weeks to come. (We are the few that won't say nothin right, we are the footsteps fading into the night..."). but yeah, buy it. I own a Mad Caddies CD, the one with the pilots on the cover. It's not a bad CD, I didn't hear anything special in it though, although I haven't really listened to it enough to give it a completely fair judgement. The song "Monkeys" kinda scares me. "The Gentleman" is my favorite song on their though. I've been meaning tp look into the Bosstones, just been kinda lazy. Which albums do you reccomend? |
