While I was on vacation, I read the latest book to my favourite series:
Shadow of the Giant, by Orson Scott Card. It's science-fiction, but this book is really a philosophical discussion that presents issues which merit a lot of consideration, especially after you put the book down. One such passage struck on me when I read it, and now after the London bombings, I'm re-examining it to see what truth, if any, it holds. Consider the argument that Virlomi presents here:
