I missed the debate, but all of the analysts (except the obviously Pro-Bush ones) have said that John Kerry definitely did better. The clips I saw showed this too. Kids at my school (we're a Catholic school, so we have a good number of conservative kids, well, kids that think they support Bush but don't know jack **** about politics and only go by what their parents say) think that Bush did better because he sounds like a "normal, average american" while John Kerry went on and on and talked (isn't that the point of a debate?). I don't get why everyone says that Bush is good because he's like an average Americn; first of all, he isn't an average American, and talking in a goofy accent doesn't make him so. Second, do you really want the average American in charge of one of the most powerful nations in the world? |
