I never have time to stick around for a battle, just doesn't hold the same magic it did when you are only a 14 year old kid with no real wholesome activities to persue.
still, on a real rare day when I am completely bored out of my skull, I do find myself visiting this place. It just holds so many fond memories, so many creative and intresting people, that I could never completely turn my back on it all.
Sure, I doubt anyone really remembers me, I was one of those kids back then who did not have much literary skill, even less creativity, yet I battled with the some of the best writers I have ever come to known (and lost horribly too, now that I look back. =P)
Because of this place, I found myself. I gained confidence in who I was, what I could do, and now I am where I am today because of it all...All because I thought I was being cool pretending to be Dark Link, chucking literary bombs and swinging words at Iron Warrior or Joker.
So yea, thank you everyone that I associated with way back then, for giving an ignorant 14 yr old kid to realize the importance of creativity, the importance of self worth, and the want to write insanely long descriptive paragraphs that enthralled the reader. [img]graemlins/lol.gif[/img]
