| And if you actually read the comics, and the shorts in particular, there's a lot of really delicate work that goes on in there. Brian Clevinger basically does the same thing: taking sprites and posting them onto a photoshop background, and in fact, I don't think he does as good of a job due to the fact that he sometimes changes the sprites from their battle sprite to their field sprite. |
Nor do I care about this David fellow, I don't even know who he is. I'm talking about NC Comics, which should take the average person about fifteen minutes to create. And I honestly doubt they'd appeal to many above the age of fourteen, because the quality of the jokes in them are very low.
The entire "spriting" phenomeon, and sprite comics in general is like a blemish on the earth. Even if Jay Resop did create the very first sprite-comic, what he has actually concieved is thousands of poorly made comics on thousands of geocities sites across the world wide web with moronic ( or lack thereof) humor made by untalented thirteen year olds obsessed with video games. Save comics to people who can actually make them funny, like the publishers of Jerkcity, Qwantz, Space Moose and Bob The Angry Flower.
