And if you actually read the comics, and the shorts in particular, there's a lot of really delicate work that goes on in there. And now you're telling me what to believe. I've read both 8BT and B&G, and I find NC infinitely funnier. -CSM |
seriously, could you make this any easier? I am pretty sure making comics isn't Anez's career choice, as I am sure that no one could maintain that level popularity for a lifetime. As much as I am sure he would like, it simply can't be done. He is a full time teacher at a community college. He makes A living off his comic, but it is not the sole source of his income. Yet, he has time to put out a comic every day! Jay is a COLLEGE STUDENT, no mention of a job, so I am assuming he has none. Maybe Jay wants to do other things with his time, like not make comics for a living? Seems like "doesn't want to make comics at all" is the more applicable theory here.
So now you go after Brian Clevinger after I defeat you in the Anez battle. The difference between Clevinger and Resop is that Clevinger puts out a consistently good comic. Clevinger uses wit above the third grade level. Whereas NC is really, really, not funny. You tell me what's funny about ripping off an iPod commerical? Wait, nothing was funny about that one. As for sprite ripping and all that, I look at a NC comic, then a 8BT or B&G comic. It's like picking between an isolated shack, or a luxurious mansion.
You would have to be handicapped to be able to say that last thing with sincerity. But then again, it's clear that you are a fanboy, so a comment like that was expected.
