| Castlevania DS is one of my most favorite games ever. It's very Super Metroid - esque, in manner of exploration and power ups. You can kill monsters and receive special powers or the ability to summon them. How badassed is that? It's not limited to a single weapon, you can use guns, knives, swords, axes.. like, anything. Prettiest art seen in 2D gaming in forever, as well.
If you like oldschool games like Centipede or Asteroids, Retro Atari Classics is pretty sweet, too. The games were re-designed visually by famous graphitti artists. They're a real blast for when you just wanna kill some time wherever. |
