My grades were B+ (Chemistry, and I don't know where my Chem Lab grade is), C+ (History, my first C ever by the way), S (Japanese which was required to be taken Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory), and B (Trigonometry). From somebody who was 15th in her class in high school.
I'm so glad to be out of there, and with my scholarship intact. Even if I did get stained with my first C ever.
And by the end of the semester Japanese was starting to feel like a leash. I went in there to learn Japanese, and instead it was often an hour of the teacher's ranting and raving about humanity or astronomy or something, then 15 minutes of Japanese. Yet at the same time I really couldn't go ahead while out of class, because I had to stay with what the class was doing. Now I can settle down with the learning Japanese books I got off Amazon and the assorted Japanese player's guides and games I got off eBay and just learn it by myself. Although it's totally different from English ("Is cat" sounds perfectly normal in Japanese) it's supposed to be a fairly easy language.
