Nah, they all sound like made up excuses to me, Koga. You've never touched the thing, so now you're ready to crucify it in the name of your analog or whatever. I like D-pads for 2D games, they do what they're supposed to. Analogs kind of work for 3D, although no one really ever had a use for walking slowly in Mario 64. This is supposed to work better. I accept that I have not tried it, and will see if it does.
As for motion-sensitive controls over traditional: I present you with a resounding "Hell Yes!" to fully operational motion-sensitivity. I love crap like that. I was very disappointed that the powerglove didn't work. I want something that does what it was supposed to properly, and more. This provides an excellent way to control the camera. All you limp-wrists can moan about holding it all you like, I just see it as an excuse. Nah, I'm not too interested in gimmicky games. I hated the freaking waterpack in Mario Sunshine. It was just a tool that cheapened gameplay mechanics and tried to compensate for the fact that the designers couldn't challenge gamers in an action/platforming environment. I don't like dance games and drum games. I just see this as the heir apparent to the crappy c-stick and buttons we previously used to control the camera, and other sensitive motions.
Man up to the challenge, and try it out before you write off using it. Or buy a fugging Xbox and shut up, it's not going to make a difference.
