On Monday the
trailer debuted for Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (the prequel to the remake that was made a few years ago). However, the trailer can only be viewed between the hours of 10:00 pm and 4:00 am (though, for some reason, you can see the trailer at any time through the ITunes store)
According to
AICN, this is because the MPAA feels the trailer is a little too intense (even though the trailer did get a green band -- i.e. "Approved for all audiences") and that New Line was initially banned from showing the trailer online...PERIOD.
Will this lead to the beginning of the a trend for trailers of R-rated films?
