| Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose Continuation of the Xenosaga series (obviously). Been doing the sidequests lately for the GS Campaign. The good: Awesome cinema music (by Yuki Kajiura!!). Some cool characters. Faster paced battles than its predecessor. I like the Skills system. Good story, but in my opinion, Xenogears owns it ten times over. So far, anyway. Pretty good voice acting. The bad: Town music suxx0rz. No way to customize your attack patterns this time around. Cast cohesion, while there, is lacking in comparison, to again, Xenogears. Load times border on excessive (especially when you're going from Second Miltia to the Foundation and back over and over and over again like you have to for the sidequests), but if you've played Episode I, well, those were worse. Still, overall, it's a fun game. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. Kingdom Hearts II Duh. Awesome game. Yes, you can usually button-mash X, but the Triangle trigger's fun. Now I'm just waiting till I'm in the mood to go and beat a whole bunch of stuff up. Yay 100% completion. Star Ocean III: Till the End of Time Been a while, but I gotta finish this game. Again, I need to level up and stuff. Battle system is good and things are pretty interesting most of the time. Decent story. Great graphics. Pretty cool music. Don't avoid that many battles though, 'cuz it'll hurt you later when you realize that everything has started wiping the floor with you. That's not fun. The Inventions thing is cool, but it can make stuff tough 'cuz you basically need to use it to survive--especially if, like me, you didn't fight as many battles as you should have initially. =( |
