As the Esel family entered the town, fireworks burst into the the air.
"I wonder whats going on?" thought Mersheti.
His father looked at the sky for a little bit. Then he turned his head and spoke to Mersheti.
"We really shoudn't waste time looking at the sky. We need to find an inn to stay in."
The two men walked around looking for an inn suitible for them. They had a lot of cash on hand, so they decided to pay for the best one.
Mersheti asked his father if he could go outside. He said yes, only if he would carry a blade.
Mersheti didn't really like carrying a weapon along, but he desired to see what was going on. After putting the sheathed sword on his waist, Mersheti stepped out of the hotel into the town. |
