So, there was this comic contest somewhere else that I decided to enter. It allowed multiple entries, so I just went for broke and made ten comics. It's based on the Touhou series of games, an indie game series made in Japan, typically of the 'manic shooter' type where you shoot things and bullets fill the screen. With the sheer depth of the game universe and it's characters is impressive. A couple of interesting points: all of the characters are female (human or otherwise), all of them have special abilities and personality quirks, and it's set in an quasi-feudal-Japanese alternate universe.
Anyways, you didn't come here for text. Here's the comics. You won't really need to know the characters to 'get' the jokes, so you can read them cold. But, I think it helps.

I then proceed to make much stupider comics as the contest wears on.
There's a curious trend where my artistic abiltiy improves as I practice using the tablet, but overall quality goes down as I get more and more tired throughout the week. ^.^() In case you're wondering, no, I did not win the contest (that was
this guy).
