| Occasionally fanboyism has no link to stupidity but it's far and few in between. I had to work with a lab group in chemistry class that was obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean and Kingdom Hearts and I didn't dare disagree for for one would try to murder me for my opinion. Glad I was able to work alone though it was a turbulent year.
I personally think Nintendo does have a strong chance to do well this next generation if they are able to successfully hook people. They have some interesting games that are going to come out like Disaster which is a first person shooter published by Nintendo. Many neat concept's and possibilities can be used by the Wiimote if we open our minds. That will be Nintendo's problem. Ignorance, arrogance, fear, stubbornness, and blindness will be the big enemy that most people in the world have. I too wondered how it would be possible but when watching the video with my grandpa, he convinced me that it would work and many things could be done. Seeing the possibilities made me believe my grandpa was right.
This could be the generation were Sony falls if they keep up with their cocky attitude and mistakes. The controversy they keep making is going to slap them in the face and ruin their support too. Nintendo has made plenty of mistakes but they have learned from them and are trying a plan that seems crazy but it just might work.
Also many companies just might stop supporting Sony if it becomes too unprofitable for them. Maybe if enough Square fans speak up them maybe SquareEnoix will be more Creative.
