| I'm not certain, but I think that Matthew has something about good works being necessary to get into heaven, and... some other book talks about salvation by faith alone. When Luther translated the Bible, he left out Matthew because that passage (and maybe a few others) interfered with his interpretation. So, both points of view are in the Bible. Not that the Bible ever contradicts itself or anything. |
