It's a given that Link and Zelda will be in the series. I don't see why it has to have anything to do with anyone else from past games. I'm sick of the narrow-minded sequels that take absolutely no real risks. There are plenty of ways to make a provocative series without being so ridiculously dependant on the past, and they should try something new.
I'm also fairly certain that there will
not be many returning characters in the new gcn game.
