| The problem with religion is that the descendants of whoever joins the religion get brainwashed into thinking that the religion is THE absolute right way of viewing the truth, and that everyone who isn't in that religion is in some way wrong. This prevents willions of people from making there own interpretation of reality. I feel that if more people were allowed to make choices on their own, and less people were brainwashed from birth by religion, there would be less zealotry in the world, and alot less people justifing evil deeds (that they KNOW are evil) for the sake of their particular religion (or more accurately, the people who use said religion to brainwash the people into doing what they want). |
