I don't have problems with being patient; first, I only have about 1,000 other games to pick from in the mean time. Secondly, I don't even remember the last time a game that wasn't a collection of some kind* came out and made me go "GOTTA HAVE IT!" The few times I payed full price for something that wasn't a niche title that disappears from the shelves a few months after being released without a price drop (like Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne or Magna Carta: Tears of Blood), I completely regretted it, mostly because there aren't many games I don't buy on pseudo-impulse (I bought the Special Edition of Resident Evil 4 for $60 even though I was only very slightly interested in it. Why, I still don't know, I've only played the game for ten minutes).
* I remember running into the Gamestop I preordered Mega Man X Collection at three times in one day for them to get it delivered (visited as soon as they opened, they said come back at noon. I came back at noon, they said it was being delivered FedEx, so come back at five. I came back at five, and went home singing happy happy joy joy.) Similarly was Capcom Classics Collection, except they had it in the first time I went in the store.
