The reason Bush got re-elected is because the democrats have been notorious for shooting themselves in the foot ever since Clinton left office. The Democrats lack the united effort necessary to take the oval office and/or the legislative branch back from the Republicans. Personally I don't even think the democratic committee themselves had faith in John Kerry's chances against Bush. They probably knew he wouldn't win, but who else do they have? |
